Home
No longer exists
At least, not in tangible form
The stars and the sun and the flowers
No longer speak to me
As they did before
They can tell
From my calloused hands
And covered feet
And careful eyes
That I have grown too much
And know too much
And can no longer love them
As I did before

Yet, I linger
Like a fool
Like a sage
Where the stars and the sun and the flowers belong
Where my heart is buried among the roots
As a memento
As a compass
Surely, I will return
Home
